Identify "Yourself" after Divorce
 

"Who are you, what do you want — and why?" Attendees will learn reality checks and ways to improve personal focus. Also discussed: New research on the attributes of individuals most likely to "recover" after divorce. These clinics help women fill out the forms for filing uncontested divorces in Washtenaw and Wayne Counties using the Michigan Divorce Book. (Book is also for sale at The Women's Center, helping earn money to provide low-cost services.)

Controlling Anger in Divorce
 

"Stressors, choices and responsibility." A first-of-its kind presentation on this number one issue in divorce. Attendees will learn 7 criteria for identifying “unhealthy” uses of anger, 10 styles of expressing anger, and self-assess with an informal “Hostility Questionnaire.”  Attendance is free of charge, and advanced registration is not required. Open to individuals of all faiths, regardless of “filing status” or years since divorce.
